Welcome to my blog where I pray you will find useful information that helps you plan your next adventure. As a mom, the realization of only having 18 summers with my kids really stuck in my mind. Of all the things I have ever spent money on, vacations has never been a regretted expense.
Seeing the world through the wonder and amazement of my kids eyes has always been the motivation I needed to plan our next adventure. We have spent years traveling with our children by car, boat and plane. We have enjoyed visits to National Parks such as The Grand Canyon, The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Yosemite and The Petrified Forest. We have gotten to experience the thrills and excitement of theme parks like DisneyLand, Knotts Berry Farms, Six Flags, Lego Land and Sea World. We have spent many hours in the car driving across the country from California to Georgia multiple times. One of those trips was a little slower paced where we traveled Route 66 and stopped at many of the landmarks along the way. As much as we have enjoyed all of these adventures our favorite way to vacation is on a cruise ship where we all get to relax and enjoy the vacation.
As I add entries to this blog, I will include specific details and places along with photos of these adventures. Traveling with a family can be challenging and it’s easy to think that it’s not worth the trouble. Let me reassure you that having these experiences with your children will never be something you will regret.
